I have a M-416 trailer for sale. It’s in great shape. Only has surface rust where the paint has flaked off - no rotted out places. No major dents. Tires not cracked. Hand brake works, still has the pintel hitch, elec. pig-tail. Original Army ordinance tag still in place, but is missing the model/serial number tag on rear. I’m in Colorado about 45 miles north of Denver. If you’re interested, I can email pictures and discuss $$.

I seem to remember that there was aproblem with the website of 4×4trailersltd….it would send you to 4×4trailers which is tentrex….they are not the same….anybody with news on the old 4×4 trailers out of Las Vegas please send it….looking for a good trailer….M416 style but as big a fullsize pickup bed….(like 4×4 trailer LTD)

Thanks Darcy BUT…Tentrax has been around for a long time. Did you guys acquire 4×4trailers.com? Not just the website domain name but the company also? I love the Tentrax trailer concept but it’s totally different from the original 4×4trailers.com concept, which mimics the military M416.

And I don’t mean to be critical but would you explain to us what “Terrain Rated” means as it relates to an offroad trailer?

4×4trailers.com now know as Tentrax and as seen in the Daimler Chrysler 2007 Jeep Wrangler Brochure is the only “Terrain Rated” off road camping trailer available toady.

I haven’t heard anything. A quick search in the news and in Google didn’t reveal anything new either. I’m disappointed. I wish they would have at least left up a page indicating what customers can do if they need help, etc. From where I sit they had a good thing going but I don’t know the financial details for their company.

Have you consider a 3/4 ton or 1 ton military surplus trailer? Put some work into it and you’d have a nice trailer for your van.

I was really interested in a trailer from 4×4 Trailer LTD and was really disaapointed when they closed shop. Any new info on someone starting it up again? I have a E350 Diesel 4×4 van and wanted the full size version they built with a steel lockable top and rack. Anybody know of one for sale?
